Pear, cashew & yoghurt dessert recipe

If you are a family that serves up dessert to your children, then try this one. It is a favourite in our house and ticks lots of nutrition boxes at the same time. We have a supply of pureed pear in our freezer, and it takes less than 2 minutes to make.

This dessert has a creamy smooth texture and is really tasty. The cashews are packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. These include vitamins E, K, and B6, along with minerals like copper, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium, all of which are important for maintaining good bodily function.

Thanks to River Cottage Baby & Toddler Cookbook for this great recipe.

45g Pureed pear (skin on for maximum goodness)
20g Cashew nut butter (we make our own to keep costs down but Ceres Organic Nut Butter is fantastic)
50g Plain, natural, unsweetened yoghurt.

Mix well and serve.
