At the heart of our business, we want to do what's right by our young generation to ensure they grow up in a world that provides the same pleasures we experienced as we grew up.

We are aligning our own sustainability targets with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. This table lists the goals relevant to our business with our specific targets to works towards each.

#2 Zero Hunger	2.1 End hunger and ensure access by all people, in particular the poor and people in vulnerable situations, including infants, to safe, nutritious and sufficient food all year round.	a. Donate goods to Auckland City Mission to feed families who are in need.	So far we have donated nearly 1,600 meals to the City Mission.
#2 Zero Hunger		b. Incorporate a meal donation suggestion with online ordering through our website.	Completed.
#3: Good Health and Well-Being	3.4 Reduce by one third premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being.	Only prepare products that are nutritionist endorsed.	This is in place for all of our products.
#8 Decent Work and Economic Growth	8.5 Achieve full and productive employment and decent work for all women and men, including for young people and persons with disabilities, and equal pay for work of equal value	Pay the Government recommended living wage for all staff	In place for all staff.
#12 Responsible Consumption and Production	12.5 Substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse	Maintain efficient ordering protocol for manufacturing so there is the exact amount of ingredients as required.	In place. There is no food wastage during our food manufacturing process. We have a 6 month shelf life thus reducing wastage on supermarket shelves.
		Procure packaging materials that are sustainable a. Toddler meals	Use a dualpak carton that is a paperboard and can be recycled. Carboard outer fully recyclable. Film soft plastic recyclable (awaiting compostable options to come to market)
		b. Baby food	Currently finalising compostable option
#16 Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions	16.6 Develop effective, accountable and transparent institutions at all levels	Make this public for transparency. Post on website.	Done. To create a QR code to direct to sustainability page on packaging – to be implemented on next packaging run, mid 2021.
		Procure suppliers of food and packaging that are operating with integrity, strong values that align with Tot’s Pantry. List suppliers here for sake of transparency	- Foodchain (uses Halal, free range meats, hormone, GMO and antibiotic free beef) - Moreish – organic, Halal and free range meats - City Produce Limited – vege - Ceres Organics – organic produce and veg - Bidfood & Gilmours – dairy and shelf stable products. NZ sourced where we can.
		Register as a B Corp	Not started. Scheduled to apply in 2022.
		Accredited as Living Wage Employer	We pay all of our staff the Living Wage. Need to fulfil other criteria.
		Become a Carbon Neutral company.	Introduced Carbon Click for shipping offsets. Investigating tool for calculating carbon footprint of packaging to offset. Remainder scheduled for 2022.
